Art Workshop with the Tashi Kyil Monks

01:00 pm to 03:30 pm
Unity of Bloomington
http://www.tashikyiltour.org

Both children and adults will be guided through the arts of sand painting, making “medoc” — the flowers usually put on a Sacred Butter Sculpture (using Play Doh), coloring images of Tibet and Eight Auspicious Symbols, painting Mani Stones (please bring your own flat stone), and making prayer flags.

Unity of Bloomington, in partnership with the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center, invites the public to five days of sacred learning, spiritual enlightenment and interaction with the Tibetan Buddhist monks visiting on the 2018-2019 Tashi Kyil Tour. The monks are from Tashil, a Tibetan refugee monastery located in Dehra Dun, India.
