Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon

09:00 am to 12:00 pm
Herman B Wells Library, Room E174
https://libraries.indiana.edu/artfeminism-wikipedia-edit-thon

Art+Feminism is a global project improving content on cis and trans women, the arts, and feminism on Wikipedia. We will gather together to learn how to edit Wikipedia in order to create new articles and improve existing content. We welcome people of all gender expressions and identities to participate. No experience is necessary!

In this drop-in workshop we’ll be learning about the gender gap on Wikipedia. In addition, you can get trained to make simple edits to the group encyclopedia – from adding a new citation to uploading images – we’ll even learn how to write an entirely new article.

Coffee and refreshments will be provided. Please bring a device (laptop, tablet, etc) if you have one. Sign up to help us plan space in the workshop.

Cost: Free
