The Ivy Tech John Waldron Arts Center, the IU Jacobs School of Music, and Bloomington Connect present ARTS IN CONCERT—a music series bringing together visual artists and musicians to exchange ideas through music and art.
The featured music ensemble for the April performance will be the IU Kuttner Quartet who will curate their music to the powerful sculptures of artist, Robert Pulley.
Kuttner Quartet members Susie Koh and Sofia Kim on violins, Andrew Collins on viola, and Marta Guðmundsdóttir on cello were selected in September 2017 as the student resident quartet at Indiana University. The Quartet receives coaching from faculty members Atar Arad, Alexander Kerr, and members of the renowned Pacifica Quartet.
A brief discussion about the collaboration will follow.
The Arts in Concert performance will be held Monday, April 15 at 7:30 pm at the Ivy Tech Waldron in the Miller Gallery The final performance for the spring series will be held May 13, 2019. This concert series is free and open to the public.
