Honey has been valued by countless cultures all around the world over the past 2500 years for various purposes – as a healing antibiotic, and above all for its nutritional health benefits. It is no accident that we call our loved ones “Honey”
On Tuesday eve, June 21st, at 5:30 The Venue will host a presentation by Tracy Hunter, all about bees and honey. Learn how honey is produced, stored and marketed at The Hunter Honey Farm, Follow a bee keeper through his day, and see it all.
The Hunter Honey Farm is family owned and operated. This fourth generation of beekeepers has been producing honey and honey related products in Indiana for over 100 years.
Their honey as pure and natural as possible, never flash heated or pressure filtered, insuring that their customers get the finest and most flavorful honey that nature has to offer.
Even though honey is their main product, they also produce beeswax, bee pollen, and propolis, used to make beeswax candles, beeswax soap, beeswax moisturizing cream, beeswax lip balm, honey teriyaki sauce, honey barbecue sauce, honey mustard sauce, honey vinaigrette, honey hot wing sauce, honey chocolate sauce, honey caramel corn, honey dried apple slices, spun honey, honey pecans, honey mustard pretzels, honey baklava and many other honey treats. They also have 32 different flavored honey stix and 6 varieties of honey candy.
