Author of Miles from Home: The Journey of a Lifetime; Phillip L. Woods, a native son of Nashville whose autobiography includes details growing up in South Central Indiana during the 1940’s as well as details about his 2 walks across America, will be making an appearance to greet readers and provide autographs.

At the age of 66, he decided to walk across the United States from east to west. He wanted to see the country not as politicians and lobbyists were formulating it, but see it as a land of individuals who had their own values and opinions. Then at the age of 72, he made a second trek across the country, this time from north to south.
Let his memoir and can-do spirit inspire you in pursuit of the American Dream.
Books will be available for purchase and autographs.
