The Friends of Monroe County Public Library’s Bookstore is gearing up for its Big Fall Sale. Members of the Friends can purchase items on Thursday, September 9 from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. You can join the Friends at the door or online at mcpl.info/friends to participate in this early bird sale. The sale will be open to the public from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11. For each of these sales, all books will be 50 cents to $1.00. On Sunday, September 12, customers can fill a bag for $6.00 or fill a box for $8.00 from noon to 6:00 pm. Bags and boxes will be provided. From 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Monday, September 13, all remaining items are free. New items are put out daily, so customers are encouraged to come often. The sale will be held in Meeting Rooms 1B/C on the first floor of the Library on Kirkwood Avenue. All proceeds support the programs and services of the Library.
