Bloomington history buffs and long-time residents won’t want to miss a very special 1-hour program titled “Bloomington Illustrated” at the Monroe County Public Library, Room 1B, at 6 PM on Thursday, October 20. The program will consist of narrative accompanied by historic images of Bloomington from the early 20th century. It is sponsored by the Monroe County Extension Homemakers and coincides with a week-long, national celebration of Extension Homemakers. At the conclusion of the program participants will be given a brief opportunity to learn about the various Extension Homemaker clubs in Monroe County. Admission is free and everyone is invited.
