https://soaad.indiana.edu/exhibitions/grunwald-gallery/online-exhibitions/mfa-bfa-thesis/index.html

A new exhibit will be available for viewing on the Grunwald Gallery of Art website starting December 1, 2020. Bones of Abandoned Futures by graduating IU Painting BFA student Bethany Habegger explores the materiality of paint through images of abandoned spaces. It includes five oil paintings that use a variety of techniques to describe our collective cultural past. Her work looks at nostalgia and how these forgotten places become sacred and beautiful. The work preserves these spaces and shows how they are time capsules from a not so distant past.
For related artworks and content, check out her art website and Instagram profile. There you can see past works related to this series.
