Brandon Pfeiffer – brandonjp.com – is one of the strongest vocalist we’ve ever featured on the Bloomington Songwriter Showcase – and the fact that he can put together some extremely strong music is frosting on the cake. This young writer is one of the folks who make the Showcase run smoothly – in charge of our website -facebook.com/BloomingtonSongwriters. He’s comfortable on stage, and enjoys what he does – and it shows! Tom Marshalek was our first social media manager – (now managed by Brandon Pfieffer). His music is what I like to call Texas Swing / Rockabilly inspired, but I’m sure Tom would call it Americana / Blues. Tom has been performing at the showcase almost from its inception over eight years ago and we’ve enjoyed what Tom brings to the party – often chiming in with his violin work – in support of fellow writers in the round. Hope Author – HopeArthur.com – is making her debut performance at the Bloomington Songwriter Showcase – visiting us from Fort Wayne, Indiana – where she is involved with a group called the Hope Arthur Orchestra. The Hope Arthur Orchestra is a compelling, ever growing (roughly 25 members currently) ensemble of Fort Wayne, Indiana-based musicians performing the intriguing, heart-wrenching, and overall entertaining original compositions of Hope Arthur. We look forward to Hope’s first Showcase and hope she enjoys her visit to Bloomington, IN. Will Cleary (no website given) has just returned to the area after an extended leave of absence. He’s a solid Songwriter and performer. Wills tunes are Singer-Songwriter – Americana all the way with a touch of Rock & Blues. This will be his first Showcase since his return to Bloomington, IN, and we look forward to having him on stage.
