A joint showing of new works by Scott Johnson and Kristin Busch featuring metal mandalas and ceramic forms.
Kris works with stoneware, using the wheel to create pottery for use and to adorn the home. She finds inspiration for decorating her forms in the colors and star patterns of Scott’s photography as well as from traditional Asian copper red glazes and forms.
Scott has taken his astrophotography to a new level. Bringing a fresh new take to the concept of infinity, this is likely the first time anyone has combined astrophotography and the making of mandalas. This new work bridges the art of photography and computer graphics while presenting images with a depth and clarity that only metal prints can offer.
**Scott’s portion of the exhibit will be on display during the month of August only**
