Community Outreach and Volunteer Fair

10:00 am to 01:00 pm
Plaza at the Farmers' Market (8th and Morton Sts.)
http://www.bloomington.in.gov/volunteer

Find your volunteer niche at this Volunteer Fair held at the Farmers’ Market. This is a great opportunity to meet the people who work or volunteer for our local nonprofits, and to explore ways that you can connect to this work. When you have something you’re passionate about, it’s much easier to find the time to do it!

Over 40 nonprofit organizations will be represented, including the Fourth Street Festival, Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard, Monroe Lake, Global Gifts, Trained Eye Art Center, New Hope Family Shelter, Bloomington Parks and Recreation, Community Kitchen and Monroe County Court Appointed Special Advocates, who serve children who have been abused or neglected.

More people in Bloomington volunteer than both the state and national averages—and Bloomingtonians volunteer at a higher rate as well Check out the Volunteer Fair and see what appeals to you—learn how you can best put your time and talents to work.

Cost: Free
