Join us to celebrate the opening of two featured exhibitions: Living Treasure and Fabulous Follies and Facing the Revolution: Portraits of Women in France and the United States.
This evening’s celebration includes:
Music Café | Live music in the atrium, featuring an all-female string quartet. Meals and snacks available for purchase at the Cafe. | 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Curator Talk. Galina Olmsted introduces Facing the Revolution. A limited number of portable gallery stools will be available for guests who are uncomfortable standing and walking in the gallery. First come, first served. | 5:30 p.m. | Featured Exhibition Gallery, first floor

Free cookies, inspired by Iced VoVos. Robert Baines, the artist whose work is featured in Living Treasure and Fabulous Follies, tells a story of how an 11th century Islamic armlet became an Iced VoVo cookie, an Australian treat. Interactive Exploration Station | Make and take wire jewelry, inspired by ancient jewelry and Baines’s creations. Create your own identity and sit for a faux portrait.
