OK – we’ve been waiting for a few years to get Evie Ladin on our stage. She was here once before and packed the place. Evie has a LOT of fans and there’s a reason for that – she is just plain old SPECIAL. Tonight she’ll be performing with co-writer Keith Terry as a duo. Looks like there will be more than one banjo player in the house too – as Merriwether Williams brings his theatric, rustic music to our stage. Merriwether has a sense of humor, and often incorporates this into his music as he strums his old banjo or washtub bass *that’s right – he plays washtub bass!. Steve Boller is a very young Alternative Rock/Contemporary writer – he has a wonderful voice, very strong songs and has become one of our Audience favorites in a very short period of time – did I mention he’ll be on stage this evening too? (He will!) Last writer on this evening’s program will be dwBrykalski – David Weirhake’s stage name : -) David has been a busy guy lately – often found running his own Showcases around Bloomington and is a prolific Singer-Songwriter in his own right. He plays guitar, accordion, harmonica and probably a few other instruments . . . and he play’s ‘em all pretty darn well. He’s backed up just about everyone who is anyone in the area’s music scene; including Krista Detor, Tim Grimm, Jason Wilbur . . . well you get the gest. . Right? Hope you all make it out to this one!
