This month’s Bloomington Unplugged at The Venue, bringing you the best of local unamplified music, features a performance by Marc Haggerty of covers and original music, self-accompanied on the guitar and harmonica. The event will take place on Tuesday evening, October 3rd, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Marc has been active from the late 1960s as a local leader of the anti-war movement. Over the years, he has also served as a leader on voting rights issues, local environmental issues, and currently to prevent the genocide of our deer and promote humane living conditions in our local jail. He has always been willing to speak truth to power and live the courage of his convictions.
Over those same years, Marc has also been a creative musician and performer, and an influential force in our music scene. His original compositions and covers are all created and selected to provoke us, inform us, and entertain us.
