J.D. Maulin & the Stone Cold Dog play original Hoosier outlaw Americana music. Based on the diverse songwriting of J.D. Maulin, the band can unleash a song with fire or lay one out smoother than ice. The Stone Cold Dog band is Shane Del Bianco, Bll Blake, Jr. and Dave Clingan. The band is releasing their new cd Sometimes the Light on Barn Loft Music, 1906 and will be playing the entire eleven-song collection. They will also be playing many other original songs and some choice covers. J.D. Maulin, who grew up in the Texas music scene, sites as songwriting influences: Townes Van Zandt, Alejandro Escovedo, Billy Joe Shaver, John Hiatt, Joe Ely, Tom Waits, and John Prine.
