The Buskirk-Chumley Theater is proud to present songwriting legend John Hiatt in a solo concert.
With a career spanning more than four decades and musical genres from blues to new wave, John Hiatt is one of the most influential singer-songwriters in American music. Originally from Indianapolis, Hiatt cut his teeth early as a Nashville hitmaker, starting work as a professional songwriter at 18 and achieving his first Top 40 hit when Three Dog Night recorded his tune “Sure As I’m Sitting Here” in 1974. Hiatt’s songs are widely covered by everyone from Bob Dylan to Iggy Pop, and in 2008, he received the Americana Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Songwriting.
Hiatt has become just as well known as a performer of his original material, releasing more than 24 full-length albums, including his 1987 breakthrough Bring the Family, which included long-lasting hit “Have a Little Faith in Me.”

Cost: $47.50
