Additional Information: Mary Jo Bowmer has been crocheting these fun and EASY scarves for years and enjoys sharing the process with others. These scarves make quick, simple and practical handmade gifts that will keep your friends and family warm through the winter months ahead. All that is required is a crochet hook (whatever size is most comfortable for you) and a skein of Sashay (Red Heart) yarn of any color. Hooks and yarn can be purchased from Michael’s or JoAnn Fabrics (both retailers generally have coupons in the Sunday Herald Times). Come at 1:00 pm, before our weekly Fiber Arts Group gathers and learn the process then stay for the fiber group as well (convening from 2:00-4:00 pm). Both activities are open to newcomers and completely free of charge!
