Mathers Museum/Glenn Black Laboratory Exhibit–¡Cuba Sí! Posters from the Revolution: 1960s and 1970s

09:00 am to 04:30 pm
Mathers Museum of World Cultures/Glenn Black Laboratory of Arachaeology
http://www.mathers.indiana.edu

This exhibit features posters collected in Cuba during the 1970s, the “hey-day” of Cuban poster art, defined by militant politics and playful, divergent, exuberant, and often irreverent styles and formats–drawing upon earlier poster traditions from the Mexican and Russian Revolutions as well as 1960s psychedelic pop art. The exhibit is sponsored by CUBAmistad. Museum hours are Tuesday-Friday: 9 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday-Sunday: 1 to 4:30 pm. Closed major holidays.

Cost: Free
