Monroe County Environmental History Timeline

10:00 am to 04:00 pm on Jun 25
Monroe County History Center, 202 E 6th Street
http://www.monroehistory.org

Long before Monroe County’s founding in 1818, the region underwent environmental changes for thousands of years if not more. Within the last two hundred years, the land around us has experienced blizzards, floods, and a variety of after effects from population growth. Through photographs and images from the permanent collection, see the role the environment has played in the history of Monroe County.
