Visitors should meet in the museum’s third floor office. No pre-registration is required, but space is limited. Admission will be on a first come-first served basis.
In 1935 the US government began an ambitious photo-documentary project under the auspices of the Farm Security Administration (FSA), intended to show the hardships of the Depression and the benefits of the New Deal. Curator Nan Brewer will discuss works by artists including Walker Evans, Dorothea Lange, Ben Shahn, Marion Post Wolcott, and Russell Lee.
