Opening for Gallery Walk : Wildlife of Africa, Megan Amani Hanson at The Venue

05:00 pm to 07:00 pm
The Venue Fine Art & Gifts
http://www.thevenuebloomington.com

On Friday, November 4th, beginning at 5:00p.m. for Gallery walk and as our feature show for November,The Venue will host a show of African inspired drawings and paintings by Magen Amani Hanson, Wildlife of Africa.
Although Megan Amani Hanson looks like a typical college girl, looks can be deceptive. She actually claims East Africa as her home. Amani spent most of her life in Tanzania and Kenya before coming to Bloomington. Amati means “peace” in Swahili.
The incredible animals that dot the landscape of her home countries are the inspiration for much of Amani’s art. Her style combines realistic elements and natural wildlife scenes with a hint of impressionism. Amani’s artistic mission is to communicate, through her art, the incredible diversity and beauty of creation.
As is our custom, for gallery walk The Venue will serve gourmet soup, and other treats. Our complete array of gifts and other art will be on display for purchase.
Join us.

Cost: free
