SHAWNA KAY RODENBERG holds an MFA from the Bennington Writing Seminars. She is an English Instructor at a community college in eastern Kentucky and the founder of Slant, a monthly poetry reading series in Evansville, Indiana. Her work has appeared in New Millennium Writings, Structo, drafthorse, Free State Review, Crab Creek Review, Kudzu, Consequence Magazine, and lately Village Voice and Salon.com. She is a Pushcart nominee and recipient of the Jean Ritchie Fellowship. Shawna is a registered nurse and mother of five and lives on a goat farm in southern Indiana.
JASON L. AMMERMAN is a poet from Indianapolis, Indiana. He is the author of three collections of poetry. They are All Grown Up, Microphone or Bust! And Battle Scarred. He is a founding member of the Reservoir Dogwoods poetry troupe. Jason has performed his work all over the Midwest for over twenty years. He is one of three organizers/hosts of the weekly poetryopen mic, Bards and Balladeers, in the Irvington neighborhood of Indianapolis. Jason’s biggest influences on his writing are Etheridge Knight, Dylan Thomas, KISS, Miles Davis, Bruce Springsteen, Pablo Neruda, and you!!
ERIN LIVINGSTON is a live poetry and performance arts enthusiast creeping her way back to the stage from a bout of defensive hermitting. Past appearances include Bloomington’s 4th Street Festival, Oranje Indy, The Encyclopedia Show Indianapolis, and The Power of a Sentence workshop series at the Indiana Women’s Prison.
RIKKI JEAN plays swampy blues country that goes down easy like a shot of SoCo. She heads the band Rikki Jean and the DWBs. Joining her is Jakis Strakis of the DWBs.
