Sacred Events with the Tashi Kyil Buddhist Monks

The monks will conduct a Fire Puja and the chanting of Chod Puja with Sacred Dances in the parking lot. The Fire Puja and chanting are to cut off obstacles to Enlightenment. Following the ceremony the prayer flags created on Saturday will be hung along the B-Line Trail.

Unity of Bloomington, in partnership with the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center, invites the public to three days of sacred learning, spiritual enlightenment and interaction with the Tibetan Buddhist monks visiting on the 2015-2016 Tashi Kyil Tour. The monks are from Tashil, a Tibetan refugee monastery located in Dehra Dun, India.
