Science StoryTime for children age birth through 6 years – Good Morning, Scientist!

Join us for a reading of CRASH! BOOM! A Math Tale by Robie H. Harris with illustrations by Chris Chatterton. In this story of counting and arranging, an elephant explores building, balancing, estimating, and measuring. After the story, we will explore ways of reaching ten using the four basic operations: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division. Science Story Time allows young scientists to develop literacy and STEM skills as well as build vocabulary by actively participating in the program. Activities designed for ages 3-6. All welcome. Materials are not necessary, but feel free to bring a collection of something for counting (popsicle sticks, buttons, Legos, etc.)
