Martin Luther King Day is a day on, not a day off for Harmony School located in Bloomington, Indiana.
For 20 years Harmony School has celebrated the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with
Social Action Day: a day of workshops & teach-ins about social activism. The tradition continues this year
with Harmony School students participating in twenty-plus experiences that make Dr. King’s vision come to
life–from random acts of kindness to examining poverty and social inequality. Harmony students get a real-world
hands-on approach to social change one person at a time with the potential for change a real possibility.
This event is open to the public and children of all ages are encouraged to attend with a parent or guardian.
