Special Concert: Music Inspired by Matisse’s Jazz

Boston-based composer and jazz pianist Christopher Bakriges and bassist Jeremy Allen (assistant professor in Jacobs School of Music) will perform original works inspired by Matisse’s cut-outs, with historical interpreter John Moore reading excerpts from the artist’s own words.
