In recognition of the twenty-fifth anniversary of Sycamore Land Trust, this program features a screening of the film Photography as an Art, from the 1960 documentary series The Inclusive Art (produced by WNET). The film conveys a sense of discovery and rediscovery through the photographs of Ansel Adams, who is shown working in Yosemite National Park.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Nan Brewer, IU Art Museum’s Lucienne M. Glaubinger Curator of Works on Paper; Christian Freitag, Executive Director of the Sycamore Land Trust; Frank Lewis, lecturer in Arts Administration; and Ric Cradick, photographer. This program is co-sponsored by IU Art Museum and Sycamore Land Trust, whose mission is to protect the beautiful natural and agricultural landscape of southern Indiana.
