Join the Hoosier Mushroom Society, a local organization devoted to promoted the science of mycology and the study of fungi, on a walk through Griffy Lake Nature Preserve. Learn to identify and properly collect the wild mushrooms that grow in local Indiana forests. Wear sturdy shoes and long pants. Bring a water bottle and a basket or mesh bag for mushroom collection.
