Monika Herzig (www.MonikaHerzig.com) is a professor at Indiana University – who often performs at Bears Place with her Jazz group. She came to Indiana as a young girl pursuing her music on a scholarship – moving from Germany and ultimately – making Bloomington IN her home. We are certainly glad she did that! Her songs are often improvised on the spot (talk about your new tunes) and she is a delightful personality addition for any Showcase. Steve Boller (www.SteveBoller.com) is a young man from Indianapolis who has developed a nice following with our Audience. He is an extremely strong vocalist and songwriter – very young sound and we love that about him. Rick LeDune (https://myspace.com/awesomepossumproject) is as Southern Country Rock as it gets – with music often laced with humor. He is truly fun, and his songs are skillfully written – VERY Nashville TN sound with a Hoosier kick. dwBrykalski – aka -David Weirhake (http://www.dwbrykalski.com/#!gallery) is a thoughtful, soft-spoken Singer-Songwriter with sentimental lyrics and lovely chord progressions. His songs are often accompanied with stories about them – and this fellow enjoys entertaining his Audience . . . we appreciate him too.
