Unslaved fights against the $32 billion dollar human trafficking industry to stop this modern day slavery. Rhonda Patterson started the organization by traveling around the world to find and help these women escape. To support survivors, Unslaved provides food, shelter, and employment through the sales of jewelry and clothing made by survivors as well as other fair-trade items. Unslaved has expanded and recently opened two stores in Indiana. Rhonda, along with two survivors, will be speaking to share their stories, how to notice signs of people entrapped in trafficking, and how to get involved. The event is open to everyone.
