Viva Primavera gallery opening at The Venue

06:00 pm to 09:00 pm
The Venue (114 S. Grant St.)
http://thevenuebloomington.com/

The Venue is holding its very first exhibition of Bloomington’s own Juliana Burrell – “Viva Primavera” – running May 18th – May 31, 2012.

Incorporating her deep interest in both nature and emotions, Burrell’s Driven to Abstraction explores the shape of emotion in the world around us. She masterfully translates the ever-flowering expression of plant life into the shapes and forms that reverberate through many layers of her composition. We always see her vibrant, direct, and modern work seeking to unlock the beauty inherent in the patterns of natural form.

The gallery opening will take place on May 18th and again on May 25, from 6 to 9 pm.

Cost: Free
