WATER: A Celebration! “Talks and Tables”
Ivy Tech John Waldron Arts Center
Saturday, June 15
2:00-4:00 PM
We depend on water for drinking, bathing, growing our gardens and recreation. We all know water comes from precipitation, but what then? Where does your drinking water come from? How can you help to keep our water clean? How can you help to reduce flooding? What is green infrastructure and how does it relate to you? Are there grants that are available to assist homeowners and others? Please join us to learn what we are doing and what actions you can take to help keep our waterways clean!
Speakers include:
Sherry Mitchell Bruker, President, Friends of Lake Monroe,
Vic Kelson, Director, City of Bloomington Utilities,
Kelsey Thetonia, MS4 Coordinator, City of Bloomington Utilities.
