World Day of Prayer

7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Unity of Bloomington

Thousands of people will join Silent Unity®—a global, transdenominational 24/7 prayer ministry—and Unity churches and centers around the world on September 10 for the 22nd annual Unity World Day of Prayer. The theme of the 24-hour prayer event is “Pray Up Your Life, Pray Up the World.” This year’s affirmation is, “As I pray, I connect my highest thoughts with my deepest faith.”

Unity of Bloomington will be recognizing World Day of Prayer with a special service. All are welcome to attend. “World Day of Prayer gives us an opportunity to come together in celebration of our oneness with God, each other, and the world. Through prayer we foster peace and wholeness in our community and in our individual lives,” said Rev. Lynnette Carlson of Unity of Bloomington.
